Kydano

Privacy policy

Last updated 26 September 2026

Kydano ("we") makes a learning app for young children. This policy explains what information the Kydano app and website collect, why, and the choices you have. Kydano is designed to be used by a parent or guardian together with their children: only a grown-up creates the account, and children never type an email address or password.

Please note

Kydano is an independent learning app. It is not connected with any local or government school, and it does not promise higher school marks or exam results. Kydano is made to build your child's knowledge, curiosity and love of learning through play.

Technical information

What we don't collect

We don't collect children's photos, voice, precise location, contacts or advertising identifiers. The app shows no ads and has no in-app chat. We do not sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

How we use it

Who helps us run Kydano

We use a few trusted service providers, only to run the service: Google (sign-in), MongoDB Atlas (database), Render (servers) and Cloudflare (storing lesson pictures and recordings). If you contact us by WhatsApp or email, those services carry your message. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.

Keeping it safe

Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is limited to the people who need it. Grown-up areas of the app are behind a parent check.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and your children's progress while your account is open. When you delete your account, your children's profiles and learning progress are deleted straight away. Records of payments may be kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can see and change your information in the app, and delete your account at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct or erase your information, or raise a concern, by writing to info.kydano@gmail.com. These rights include those under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Children

Kydano is made for children, with a parent or guardian's permission. A parent creates the account and every child profile, and can delete them at any time. If you believe a child's information was given to us without a parent's permission, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is important.
